Charitable Society
The British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Burn Awareness Week (February 1st - 7th) is designed to teach kids to be responsible for their own safety, and help make their families aware of potentially harmful situations. The program targets children in the high risk age group of pre-school to grade seven. The Burn Fund offers the program in five age appropriate levels. The web based program includes fire safety tip information, student activity sheets, colouring pages and animated videos. Check out the Burn Fund web page www.burnfund.org for more info on this valuable tool for your own families safety.
